OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Accounts Receivable Executive is principally responsible for supporting a segment of the Working Capital Management division, assisting with the upkeep of an appropriate credit terms policy for the Company and the timely recovery of unpaid monies owed to KM Malta Airlines (KMMA).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out day-to-day receivables tasks in line with KM Malta Airlines’ financial and operational goals.
• Apply established credit policies and procedures to help manage customer credit risk in line with the airline's risk framework.
• Assist in reviewing accounts receivable performance data to support collections and help reduce bad debts.
• Support the use of existing tools and processes for assessing customer creditworthiness.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow procedures in credit risk management activities.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS

• Prior experience in a finance-related role is beneficial; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to end-to-end credit control processes (desirable).
• Experience in the Commercial Aviation industry (desirable).
• Exposure to Maltese Aviation regulatory frameworks (desirable).
• A recognised post-graduate degree, in Accounting, Finance or a similar field (desirable).
