Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Solar Array Electrical Engineer - Level 3/4 to join the Vehicle Engineering Directorate within Western Region Engineering. In this role, you will support test, design and procurement of solar array sub-assemblies from multiple suppliers. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Produce photovoltaic array electrical design related engineering drawings and specifications
Planning and execution of design, analysis, test and qualification and may include mechanical solar array structures
Provide status, problem resolution plans and provide input as an Integrated Process Team (IPT) member to a complete solar array mechanical/electrical design and production efforts
Support weekly subcontract telecoms, review in-process data, attend Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRRs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), review…
