Job Description Conduct literature reviews and support experimental research activities. Perform materials production, fabrication, and assembly processes. Assist in field trials, testing, and evaluation activities. Document materials processing procedures, experimental findings, and field trial results, including the preparation of technical reports. Source and procure materials, equipment, and laboratory consumables. Maintain laboratory inventory and stock records. Coordinate and monitor the periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and procedures. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Materials Science & Engineering or a related discipline. Good understanding of material properties, processing, fabrication, and testing methodologies. Strong research and experimental skills, including the ability to conduct literature reviews, design and execute experiments, analyze results, and support field trials. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills. Experience in laboratory operations, including inventory management, procurement, and coordination of equipment maintenance. Meticulous, organized, and able to maintain accurate documentation and records. Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, risk assessment processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
