Purpose of Position The DevOps Manager proactively and holistically leads and supports architecture/engineering activities that guide the development and management of technical Engineering and Simulation infrastructure solutions. These solutions enable the organization's future-state business capabilities and drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. Technologies include Simulation stack technology matching IT data center, infrastructure, cloud, mobile, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, edge computing, and immersive experiences technologies. In addition, the DevOps Manager ensures deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts, platforms, and configurations) for evolving the technical infrastructure across the enterprise to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes related to modern full flight simulation development, security, and operations. Tasks and Responsibilities Team Management: Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of engineers, directly managing performance, career growth, and daily technical execution (5+ years required experience). DevOps & SRE Advocacy: Promote DevOps principles, automated workflows, and a Site Reliability Engineering culture across the engineering organization.
