Position Summary: Has authority, through the Director, Supplier Quality & Investigations, over the administration and development of Technical Operation / Airworthiness investigations, providing written reports, detailed analysis, and input into the hazard identification of the Safety Management System (SMS). Major Job Accountabilities Based on the experience level, they will be required to accomplish any or all of the following job duties. Findings will be recorded and conveyed for corrective action and follow-up as required. Performs SRC Technical Operations investigations that involve deviation from policies and procedures or FAA inquire and reports findings to the Director, Supplier Quality & Investigations and Director, Quality Assurance & CASS. Ensures Investigation/audit data is provided timely and accurately to ensure compliance with a SMS risk-driven audit plan that evaluates the technical operation risk management. Ability to Develop data driven recommendations to the maintenance policies and procedures based on the conclusions from investigations. Author investigation reports and complete follow-up actions. Accomplishes special QA surveillance, as assigned, based on the findings generated from investigations. Provides an investigative function over the Technical Operation Organization, which shall include the audit of maintenance records, manuals, training, qualification, operational tasks, safety procedures, ground support operations, equipment and housekeeping.
