Job Description Summary As a Lead Engineer - Engineering Metrics & Operations, you will drive initiatives that improve the effectiveness, execution, and operational rigor of the Engineering function. In this role, you will coordinate across engineering and partner functions to manage key metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiatives that support business and program objectives. You will help establish visibility to performance, improve operating mechanisms, and enable consistent execution across the organization. This role requires strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with some autonomy within established policies and business priorities. You will be expected to recommend and implement improvements to processes and practices while ensuring outcomes meet expectations for quality, timeliness, and operational impact. Key Responsibilities Drive initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness and operating rhythm of the Engineering function. Develop, maintain, and analyze engineering metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators to support decision-making and leadership reviews. Coordinate across engineering, program management, quality, supply chain, finance, and other functions to ensure alignment on priorities, actions, and deliverables. Support departmental operations planning and execution , including tracking milestones, action items, risks, and key dependencies. Lead and coordinate cross-functional improvement initiatives , ensuring timely follow-up, issue resolution, and clear communication to stakeholders. Evaluate existing functional processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, visibility, standardization, and execution discipline. Prepare and deliver concise status updates, management reports, and executive-ready summaries on performance, risks, and progress against objectives. Help establish consistent business rhythms for reviews, metrics reporting, and action tracking. Modify and improve procedures and practices, as appropriate, to achieve required outcomes within established quality, volume, and timeliness expectations.
