Job Title Functional Architect The Travel Unit Services Engineering Division enables Amadeus' Move to Solutions strategy by delivering innovative, high-value services and customer-specific solutions that extend the Travel Unit product portfolio. Through engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable delivery practices, the division drives customer business outcomes, service growth, operational efficiency, and continuous innovation across airlines and the broader travel ecosystem. About the role The successful candidate supports the Travel Unit Solution Centre Practice by leading and enabling change initiatives related to solution centre blueprint development, portfolio expansion, engagement transformation, operating model evolution, business value measurement, proposal support, and growth into new Travel Unit verticals. The role requires broad knowledge of Travel Unit domains, including Airlines, Distribution, NDC (New Distribution Capability), Airports, Digital, Offer Management, and Order Management. The individual identifies reusable capabilities, cross-vertical synergies, and opportunities to create sustainable customer value while supporting innovation and best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and support change initiatives within the Solution Centre Practice, helping measure impact and drive continuous improvement across services, operating models, and customer engagements. Contribute to the definition and evolution of Solution Centre service offerings, customer value propositions, governance frameworks, business value measurement practices, backlog management approaches, and customer lifecycle alignment. Support Requests for Proposal (RFPs), proposal development, solution design, architectural visioning, innovation initiatives, prototypes, and proof-of-concept activities across multiple Travel Unit domains while promoting reusable assets and scalable capabilities.
