A key element of this position will be having knowledge on Programming, machining & execution of parts independently as per shift outcome. Site Overview Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of machining operations, including CNC programming, tool selection, and fixture design. Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of various machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and specialized CNC machinery. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap. Participate in process improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of new machining techniques, tooling, and automation solutions. Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications and design requirements. Maintain accurate records of machining parameters, production data, and quality control results. Contribute to the creation and revision of manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols related to machining.
