Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space. Inside the Fucino Space Center, we are looking for a System Engineer to support the Galileo Control Center. Mission: The Galileo Mission Segment (GMS) of the Galileo GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) manages mission operations by computing navigation data and time corrections, while ensuring the integrity and quality of the signal through continuous monitoring of user-transmitted data. The Secure Operation Engineer operates within the GMS, carrying out a dedicated set of tasks and responsibilities. Operational Activities Conduct operational requirements analysis, focusing on Classified Operations. Analyze KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and identify processes and procedures to ensure compliance. Develop and maintain SOPs (Secure Operations Procedures) for managing secure ground and space segments. Manage and continuously monitor spaceborne cryptographic systems across the entire Galileo constellation. Execute operational procedures under nominal and contingency conditions. Manage critical operational situations to safeguard service continuity. Perform acceptance testing for new constellation satellites post-final orbital insertion and prior to commissioning.
