Company The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Government Vehicle Health Maintenance team in Hazelwood, MO . This role supports the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization by developing innovative solutions to enhance platform health management. As part of Boeing Global Services Software Engineering, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native microservices that capture and analyze platform health and usage data, perform automated assessments, and generate actionable maintenance recommendations. Your work will directly support mission readiness and lower lifecycle costs for platforms including F/A-18, MQ-25, F-15, T-38, T-7, and proprietary systems. Successful candidates will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle on an Agile team working within a CI/CD pipeline. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory requirements Translate customer needs and requirements into initial software designs and implementation plans Develop, document, and maintain software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and detailed designs Develop, integrate, and optimize software products and system integrations, including supplier-supplied components Debug complex issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure product reliability and performance Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, and incorporate user feedback into improvements Research and evaluate current and emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks; recommend and implement relevant solutions Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics to align with organizational goals and industry benchmarks Plan, execute, and document software research and development initiatives Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Cl…
