💼 Software Development Engineer (Microservices | Spring Boot | REST | Cloud‑Native)

As a Java Backend Dev, You will contribute to solution design, application development, testing, and production support while collaborating with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
🔧 What you’ll do
Design & build cloud‑native, microservices‑based solutions using Java and Spring Boot; Quarkus, Skube develop robust REST APIs.
Own the lifecycle from requirements to design, implementation, testing, and release; champion quality and coding standards.
Raise the bar on performance, security, reliability, and scalability (observability, resilience patterns, load/perf best practices).
Partner with product to shape scope, manage timelines, surface risks early, and deliver value iteratively.
Enable CI/CD and modern DevOps practices to speed up safe, repeatable releases.
🧠 What you’ll bring
6+ years in Java development, including.
Strong Java and OOP skills; deep experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and RESTful services.
Hands‑on with cloud‑native architecture (CNA), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with API design & integration; familiarity with secure coding and performance tuning.
Clear communication, problem‑solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring.
➕ Nice to have
Experience with Azure (or another major cloud).
Exposure to DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git) and agile ways of working.
Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
