About the role
Role Introduction Shape the future of Cathay’s infrastructure and security architecture landscape. You will lead a team of Infrastructure and Security Architects responsible for designing and implementing fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, resilient technology platforms and services that support business operations, digital initiatives, and long-term growth across the organisation. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will influence infrastructure and security roadmaps, technology standards, funding priorities, and architectural decisions across a diverse technology estate. Success requires close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, testing teams, procurement stakeholders, solution delivery teams, security specialists, business units, technology vendors, and service providers to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, operationally supportable, and aligned with business objectives. You will guide the adoption of emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, software-defined technologies, and standardised design patterns while strengthening reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and time-to-market. Through your leadership and technical direction, you will help enable the systems and platforms that keep Cathay moving forward.
