This leadership position is responsible for providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and technical leadership for the Tech Ops Large Cabin Mechanical Team. The successful candidate will lead a team of highly skilled technicians and subject matter experts responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continued airworthiness of large-cabin aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, landing gear, flight controls, hydraulic systems, braking systems, powerplant systems, and water/waste systems. This role drives technical excellence, safety, compliance, and operational effectiveness while ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations. The leader will be responsible for developing team capability, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and serving as a key liaison among Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Support organizations. The position requires the ability to assess complex technical challenges, guide root-cause investigations, facilitate timely corrective actions, and make sound operational decisions in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in aircraft maintenance, technical operations, or related aerospace environments. Extensive knowledge of large-cabin aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems. Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting efforts and root-cause investigations while driving effective resolution strategies.
