About the role
Activities and Responsibilities Perform Model Based System Engineering activities, including model-based design, architecture definition and requirements analysis/allocation for avionic system concepts and programme needs. Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, trade-off material and decision-support artefacts for programme reviews and internal/external stakeholders. Support the definition and evolution of system architectures and functional requirements for helicopters and tiltrotors and other avionic system engineering initiatives including civil and defense programs. Contribute to EDF Programs activities, including MBSE design tasks, reporting and coordination with partners and stakeholders. Support programs and initiatives as concept studies for next generation rotorcrafts with model-based design and report preparation, ensuring consistency with programme objectives and technical constraints. Coordinate inputs from internal functions and external partners, monitoring actions, dependencies, risks and reporting needs. Support studies, concept maturation and new initiatives such EDF calls preparation activities, including technical content consolidation and early feasibility assessments. Work in line with applicable engineering processes, configuration practices, quality expectations, schedule constraints and company standards. Requirements Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of system engineering processes and lifecycle, with practical understanding of requirements definition, functional analysis and architecture design. Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering / Model Based Design methods and tools Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, engineering reports and presentation material. Strong problem-solving attitude, analytical thinking and proactive approach to stakeholder needs.
