Role Introduction

Reports to: Senior Solution Lead

Join our Information Technology Department (IMT) and play a key role in delivering quality and working software applications that support business transformation and operational excellence.

Working with business stakeholders, technology teams and solution vendors, you will help shape and implement enterprise applications that drive meaningful outcomes across the People Department.

As a Solution Analyst, you will bridge business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into scalable, high-quality applications and services. You will contribute throughout the solution delivery lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through to implementation, testing and ongoing enhancement.

This role offers the opportunity to build expertise across business analysis, solution delivery, integrations and emerging technologies. You will gain exposure to AI-enabled applications, enterprise architecture, SaaS platforms and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, validate and document business requirements, user journeys, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria and traceability requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business and operational needs into practical solution designs and implementation plans
  • Support end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements clarification, configuration validation, testing coordination, issue resolution, release readiness and post-implementation support
  • Collaborate with external product vendors to review solution proposals, monitor delivery progress, manage implementation risks and ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements
  • Work closely with development teams on web application delivery, including backlog refinement, feature validation, user acceptance testing and production rollout support
  • Conduct technical and integration analysis covering system interfaces, APIs, data flows, authentication requirements, security considerations and non-functional requirements
  • Support solution governance by maintaining project documentation, testing artefacts, design decisions and implementation records in line with technology standards
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business outcomes and delivery effectiveness
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of scalable, secure and business-aligned technology solutions across the organisation

Requirements

  • Degree qualification or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in application development and support
  • Strong business analysis experience with proven capability in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process analysis, functional specification development and UAT coordination
  • Experience delivering SaaS solutions and working with external product vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Good understanding of enterprise solution and integration architecture, including CDN, frontend applications, APIs, backend services, data flows and third-party integrations
  • Practical knowledge of security principles such as authentication, authorisation, encryption, secure API design, monitoring and vulnerability management
  • Exposure to software development lifecycle methodologies, Agile delivery, backlog management, testing tools or application troubleshooting
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-enabled solutions, automation, conversational AI, analytics or digital innovation initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on balancing business value, technical feasibility and user experience
  • Experience in healthcare, medical services, HR systems or enterprise web application delivery will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication (in both Chinese and English) and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors and technical teams
  • Self-motivated, accountable and able to independently drive deliverables to completion
