Senior Maintenance Planner

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy, based at Lanseria International Airport.

The main objective of the position is to effectively control and execute aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling and airworthiness requirements and to support the Responsible Person Aircraft and Maintenance Manager Flight Operations in their duties.

Key responsibilities

• Proactive planning to optimize and ensure quality of:
• Maintenance projections.
• Contractual/customer requirements.
• Manage work scopes.
• Manage SB’s and AD’s.
• Flight folio/Techlog collection and capturing.
• Updating CMP,CAMP,Traxxall, Avdex, etc.
• Manage technical records.
• C of A renewals.
• Radio license application and renewals.
• Import/Export C of A applications.
• Registration/De-registration of aircraft.
• Flightware, LEON or similar requirements.
• Creating of work scopes.
• Research as required.
• Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Minimum of three years’ experience as an Airframe/Engine Maintenance Planner.
• Experience in updating and auditing aircraft Airframe and engine logbooks.
• Have a good understanding of aviation/aircraft terminology and all aspects of technical publications.
• Experience in dealing with the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) i.e. C of A renewals, AV and RVSM applications, radio license application and renewals.
• Experience in building aircraft inspections including SB’s and AD’s on maintenance tracking program.
• Experience in the management of job cards from generating job cards up to the archiving of job cards.
• Experience with maintenance tracking systems i.e. CAMP, Traxxall, Flightdocs, Avdex, etc. as well as updating these systems.
