RS Interior Install Tech III - Weekend Days in GAC Fort Worth

- Aircraft interior installation, refurbishment, or fabrication experience.
- Experience removing, recovering, and installing aircraft carpet, floor coverings, and interior furnishings.
- Skilled in aircraft interior component installation, including seats, sidewalls, panels, bulkheads, galleys, closets, and lavatories.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, pneumatic tools, sanders, saws, shears, and measuring equipment.
- Experience with aircraft hardware installation, including fasteners, nutplates, and inserts.
- Knowledge of aircraft interior materials such as carpet, leather, fabric, composites, fiberglass, and Nomex honeycomb panels.
- Familiarity with FAA requirements, quality standards, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and workmanship skills.
- Ability to work independently, train others, and lead assigned projects.
- Computer literate with experience using electronic work order and material tracking systems.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience. Experience in aerospace industry preferred.. Position Purpose:The Interior Installation Technician Senior works under limited supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels and other accessories. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians.Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:- Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels). .
- Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques. .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
