Unique Skills:
This position for 2nd shift Engine Shop:
- Aircraft maintenance experience, with experience in engine shop environment preferred
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, special tooling, and shop equipment related to engine maintenance
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with technical data, including AMMs, CMMs, IPCs, SBs, and AD’s
- Experience completing accurate maintenance documentation in electronic and/or paper records to meet FAA and quality system requirements
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical). A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver’s License required. Position Purpose:Perform various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraft maintenance and perform troubleshooting and repair duties requiring accuracy and skill.Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:- Perform required. maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems .
- Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .
- Knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
