The Principal Program Manager, Strategy & Integration PMO is part of the Technical Operations division. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve Technical Operations performance through process integration, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and operational simplification. This role analyzes end-to-end value streams, develops data-driven business cases, and partners across the organization to quantify value, prioritize opportunities, and advance enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Evaluate Technical Operations value streams to understand end-to-end work processes, identify systemic inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities to improve operational performance
  • Analyze workflows, handoffs, and organizational processes to identify waste, redundancy, process friction points, and integration opportunities
  • Assess automation, digital enablement, and AI-driven solutions to simplify work, improve effectiveness, and eliminate non-value-added activities
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities that align with enterprise strategy, operational goals, and business objectives
  • Define value substantiation frameworks, assumptions, success metrics, and business outcomes to support opportunity evaluation and investment decisions
  • Develop data requirements and analytical approaches needed to quantify benefits, evaluate feasibility, and assess organizational impact
  • Partner with Operational Excellence, Process Standards, Workforce Analytics, Finance, and operational leaders to validate opportunities and establish implementation readiness
  • Translate operational findings, analyses, and recommendations into clear and actionable business cases for leadership review
  • Maintain and manage an enterprise opportunity pipeline, ensuring opportunities are documented, evaluated, and prioritized consistently
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to connect insights from operational teams, business functions, and technology partners into integrated transformation roadmaps
  • Support executive communications by providing recommendations, opportunity assessments, and strategic insights to guide decision-making
  • Transition approved opportunities into PMO governance and intake processes for prioritization, planning, and execution
  • Monitor emerging industry practices, technology capabilities, and operational trends to identify future transformation opportunities

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience/training
• 5 years of experience in strategy, business transformation, operational excellence, program management, process improvement, consulting, or related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience within the airline, aviation, transportation, manufacturing, maintenance, or operational services industries
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs or large-scale operational improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, digital transformation, and emerging technology applications within operational environments
  • Experience with value stream mapping, process mining, Lean methodologies, or business process management
  • Experience working with PMOs, governance frameworks, portfolio management processes, or capital planning initiatives
  • Experience developing executive communications, strategic recommendations, and performance reporting

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Strong knowledge of Technical Operations processes and workflows
  • Ability to evaluate value streams and identify waste, bottlenecks, and integration opportunities
  • Strong systems-thinking skills across functions and organizations
  • Experience leading Value Stream Operating Model (VSOM) assessments
  • Ability to identify and prioritize automation, AI, and process improvement opportunities
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and operational applications
  • Experience developing value assessments, success measures, and Five-Point analyses
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate assumptions, risks, and business impact
  • Ability to integrate cross-functional inputs into strategic opportunity roadmaps
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior leaders and stakeholders
