Powerplant Engineering Activities Daily Review of MOC report for Incidents/ Defects/ Delays etc., for engine and APU related ATA systems and components and provide necessary technical inputs during daily morning meeting.Evaluate AD/SB/SL/SIL/AOT/OIT/other technical publications pertaining to Engines/APUs and provide inputs during monthly ADRM and ensure timely compliance of the same.Manage all aspects of the engine and APU maintenance and reliability programs.Prepare/Issue necessary Engineering Instructions or other documents required for compliance of above said documents.Keep track of all modifications being accomplished both On-wing and Off-wing.Preparation of Weekly Engine/APU watchlist.Review of EHM for all Engine/ APU models and bring any adverse trend to the notice of the Manager.Preparation of weekly Engine/APU report for management.Analyze reliability data of components regularly and liaise with respective OEMs to provide relevant inputs for improvement in monthly reliability meeting.Prepare short term/long term engine removal plans.Co-ordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely export/Import of all Engines/APUsPrepare and provide relevant documents for Engine/APU induction in shop.Review of shop documents while induction Engine/APU back from shop visit for correctness /completeness and back to birth trace of LLPs.Monitor engine in-flight performance data and recommend actions to correct abnormal trends.Provide and coordinate troubleshooting to resolve chronic APU and engine-related discrepancies using Trouble Shooting Manual (TSM) procedures or consulting with the manufacturer for further assistance.Develop technical data required for modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting of APU, engines, engine and APU systems, and related components.Create and manage engine overhaul cost and work scope.Identify spare engine requirements to support operations, contract, and maintenance requirements.Review Service Bulletins, Service Letters, modifications, and other engineering technical documents for applicability, systems reliability, and economical benefits.Create engine maintenance standards, build specifications for engines, engine systems, and components.Prepare engineering documents such as Engineering Orders (EO) to provide technical dispositions for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions on aircraft engines, engine systems, and components, which provide benefits in accordance with Breeze objectives.Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Air India Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
