The role supports MTU’s partnership on the Geared Turbofan (GTF) programs, which provides industry leading performance, as well as development of advanced engine concepts. The Performance Engineer II provides a broad range of performance support focused on MTU-owned components; the low pressure turbine and high pressure compressor front block, as well as the flying fuel cell.Essential FunctionsDrive integration of engine and component performance with our partners and global sitesDeliver engine cycle modeling projects and performance methods projectsBring innovation and ingenuity into our products.CompetenciesStrong communication skills, including the ability to provide clear and concise communication and create effective presentationsTeam player with the desire to integrate effectively in a multi-location teamStrong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize appropriately to take timely actions in the best interest of team and organizationRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. M.S.
