SkyWest is hiring OCC System Controllers and is looking for someone who loves to be challenged and has a drive to learn. You will be trained on how to run the day to day operations of the largest regional airline. You, along with the rest of the team, will be assisting millions of passengers to arrive at their destination safely and on-time.

Primary Job Duties
  • Responsible for schedule integrity and daily operation of SkyWest Airlines flights to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and consideration of economic factors
  • Cancels and delays flights, reflows crews and aircraft as necessary to achieve a high level of efficiency, economics, and passenger convenience
  • Maintains a constant awareness of weather, air traffic control, and other factors impacting flights in their region of operation
  • Communicates with the appropriate dispatcher regarding changes that affect the release of any flight
  • Communicates with flight crew and station personnel regarding changes to aircraft assignment
  • Develops contingency and recovery plans during irregular operations
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shift work with possible early morning, late night or graveyard shifts
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • This is an hourly position with an annual equivalent pay of $56,638.40
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, FAA Pilots License, or experience in an aviation related field preferred
  • Airline experience preferred
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and apply aviation weather to the operation
  • Experience in a supervisory or training role preferred
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Training for those selected for this position will begin in November 2026.

  • This is NOT a remote position. All shifts are worked at the SkyWest Corporate Office in St. George, Utah. You must be willing to relocate at your expense.
