About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and results-oriented Manager Commercial Efficiency to support the delivery of key commercial initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, standardization, and business performance across commercial functions. In this role, you will manage an assigned portfolio of Commercial Efficiency initiatives, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and successful implementation of strategic priorities. You will work across multiple business functions to drive adoption of commercial improvement programs, deliver measurable value, and contribute to the achievement of commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of an assigned Commercial Efficiency portfolio, ensuring initiatives are implemented effectively against agreed plans, milestones, and performance measures.
• Monitor portfolio progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements while providing timely status updates and managing operational issues.
• Ensure consistent application of governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and delivery processes across initiatives.
• Review business cases, analyse operational and financial performance data, and support value-realisation activities and investment decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Efficiency professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders across commercial and corporate functions to support successful delivery and adoption of initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare management reports highlighting achievements, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead the assessment and resolution of portfolio issues and escalations, coordinating corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the rollout and adoption of Commercial Efficiency initiatives through stakeholder engagement and change management activities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio performance by monitoring industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of job-related experience with a degree, including substantial experience in commercial excellence, commercial effectiveness, sales operations, business performance, transformation, or related commercial functions.
• Proven experience developing and implementing commercial frameworks, governance models, operational standards, policies, or business improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving organisational change across multiple business units.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, procedures, and operating standards.
• Experience partnering with commercial and corporate functions such as Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing, and IT to drive business outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive execution, manage change, and deliver results in complex business environments.
• Excellent command of the English language.
