Tasks

What you'll do:

  • Process accounting documents
  • Verify and obtain required approvals in accordance with internal procedures
  • Initiate creation and updates of vendor master data
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts to identify and resolve open items
  • Analyze discrepancies between expected costs and incoming invoices and initiate corrections
  • Monitor the status of assigned cases and tasks
  • Estimate and post accruals and provisions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide reporting information to finance departments and management
  • Ensure accounting processes meet agreed service levels
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations
  • Prepare audit documentation as required
  • Contribute to achieving individual and team objectives
  • Handle communication (written and verbal) in a foreign language
  • Work with support from experienced colleagues and continuously develop skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or at least completion of the 3rd year of studies)
  • Accountant: minimum 1 year of experience in Finance & Accounting (preferably SSC/BPO environment)
  • Junior Accountant: initial experience in a corporate environment is an asset
  • Good command of English (min. B1 or higher, depending on role requirements), German language nice to have
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language (level depending on role requirements)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
