What we do
The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to work right here at our Savannah facility.
What you will do
- Develop, Design, and Certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer
- Write and execute system functional verification testing in an integrated lab environment
- Develop tools that are used by engineering for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshooting
- Support troubleshooting of in-service issues impacting component reliability
- Interact with suppliers during development, certification, and root cause corrective action
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 18 months related Engineering experience. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position. Position Purpose:Performs engineering work related to the investigation and the solution of technical problems associated with research, design, development, service and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft.Job Description

- Actively works to improve daily processes, and ensures all work meets customer requirements .
- The level of technical skills and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline.
