Summary of responsibilities
The position holder is responsible for the follow up of commercial matters, including inputting and updating rates and charges in the rate database; and updating the terms and Conditions of Cargolux. He/she ensures latest rates and surcharges are uploaded where relevant, and provides defined documents, rate sheets and terms and conditions i.e., to the Area Sales. He/she is responsible to administrate the rating structure according to the set standards that are set forth by Pricing Management. He/she must proactively monitor the utilization of contracted rates to maintain a transparent and structured rate database.
The position holder works closely with the Pricing Managers, Pricing Analyst, Area Route Management, Area Sales, and Support and Development Team, and is in general accountable for the accomplishment of the following tasks
Essential job results – Task responsibilities
By supporting the Regional Pricing Manager in the execution of the Pricing Strategy for the Area 3
- By maintaining close exchange with local commercial team to register the rates in iCargo Neo in a timely and orderly fashion
- By ensuring and continuously checking a high quality of data accuracy including monitoring and filing rates in the correct rate categories, monitoring all relevant information concerning rate changes, and monitoring expiration dates
- By preparing the rate sheet to local commercial team and ensure the rates are up to dated
- By administrating the rating structure including the surcharges and fees in iCargo Neo in a timely and orderly fashion
- By ensuring the local commercial team follows the defined rating structure and methodology
- By reviewing the utilization of all rate types to ensure consistent clean data bases are maintained
- By assisting Pricing Manager to administrate the publication of Local Terms & Conditions in a timely and orderly fashion
- By providing Support and Development with up-to-date surcharges and fees for the dynamic Sales tools.
- By supporting Pricing Manager and Pricing analyst with the structural customer performance reports for discussion with local commercial teams
- By supporting the Commercial Teams with obtaining information from stations as required
- By assisting stations’ enquiries, handle and prioritize the requests
- By assisting in pricing projects as required
Essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field. Recent graduates as well as candidates with initial professional experience are welcome to apply.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Experience working with pricing systems, databases, and commercial tools.
- Good understanding of pricing structures, tariffs, surcharges, and commercial processes.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with a structured approach to work.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with commercial teams and international stations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and maintain pricing reports and commercial performance data.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting internal stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional projects.
Working Conditions
- It is a full-time position based in Hong Kong.
- Flexibility is needed with working hours and local holidays
- This position demands a regular and full-time presence and requires also business trips, vacation and other absences are planned in a way that they do not conflict with service requirements.
