Description
About the role
Will provide Al Maha Services customers Porter services from the baggage claim area to curb-side, from curb-side to check-in, or after immigration for customers arriving, departing and transiting at Hamad International Airport. Will be groomed and well-presented when engaging and interacting with customers.
Provide assistance with porter services from the baggage claim area to curb-side, from curb-side to check-in, or after immigration with porter assistance.
Provide courteous and prompt service to customers at all times.
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
Assist with manual transportation of luggage to the check-in counters and baggage carrousel.
Assist Al Maha Services staff or customer service agents at check-in activities.
Place luggage on scales and assist customers with the check-in process.
Affix baggage tags onto checked-in baggage.
Perform other duties as directed by the Management.

Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.

About you:
- High School Diploma with minimum of 2 years of job related experience
- Previous experience as Bell Host in a hotel environment would be an advantage.
- Command of English language
- Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
