Job Overview and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a team within the Records function to ensure accurate and compliant maintenance records in accordance with FAA Part 121, GMM, and departmental procedures. Provides operational and project oversight across domestic and international teams, supporting 24/7 activity and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders. Oversees initiatives related to system accuracy, documentation integrity, and continuous process improvement. Success in this role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Facilitation of time and attendance of staff; inclusive of tracking, audits, and reconciliation
- Monitor coverage and support of team and ensure the oversight of analyst bidding processes related to vacation and operational support
- Oversee workload distribution and balance – Communication with leads on project status in addition to the monitoring of trend/analysis of data points/KPI’s to survey for continued education/training in accordance with departmental SOP/DOP for respective staff
- Monitor maintenance and analyst-reported discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are initiated and followed through
- Collaborate with engineering to address recurring issues related to procedural scripting or work card content and support ongoing efforts to resolve and prevent discrepancies
- Provide departmental training and assist in the management of training syllabi in accordance with Configuration
- Management policies and procedures
- Monitor training paths of individual analyst(s) and ensure gaps in education are continually surveyed, and training plans provided
- Provide support and coaching of Leads within Configuration Management, ensuring the oversight of goal progress and workload assessment
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development through participation in leadership courses and corporate training opportunities, both online and in person
- Attend required planning, training, and allotment meetings, including quarterly business reviews, which may involve up to 15% travel
- Maintain a valid passport to support international travel obligations as needed
Ability to be flexible with operational needs and re-prioritize as necessary; comfortable with research, storyboarding and providing succinct overview(s) to leadership on simple to complex matters
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- SIDA badge eligible (required)
- RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- 3 years of aviation experience
- Effective Communication
- Navigation of Engineering Documents
- Strong Accountability on a daily basic
- Component, Engine, and Forecasting Knowledge
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Bachelor's degree
5 years of aviation experience with M&E systems
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
